Only eligible members can vote

Election-America's Election Central^® permits you to create a custom set of credentials that suit your security needs for each legitimate voter. Credentials can be any combination of randomly generated codes by Election Central^® and existing membership information (membership\employee ID). Only members who have been issued credentials can gain access to their ballots.

One person has one vote

Election-America's Election Central^® system authenticates legitimate voters and allows only one vote to be recorded. After a vote is recorded access to additional ballots is denied. Voting credentials can only be used once for any method of voting (paper, Internet, or phone).

Ballots remain secret

Election-America uses secure socket layer (SSL) technology, to safeguard the voting process. It also uses multi-tier application design protected by Cisco^® PIX firewalls. The system encrypts and digitally signs all votes before storing them in a secure database, separate from the voter's identity. With anonymous elections a voter's identity is never associated with votes.

Votes are protected

All connections are protected with a minimum of 128-bit SSL encryption. Ballots are safeguarded by advanced encryption throughout the election. Votes can only be decrypted after the election ends and requires the authorization of multiple administrators. No cookies are used at any time during voting and no software is required.

Votes are tallied accurately

Election-America's Election Central^® has accurately tallied votes for hundreds of elections.

Complete and auditable record

Election-America's Election Central^® provides unparalleled real-time oversight of the election administrator through complete logging of each and every administrator action. Additionally post-election audits are possible through the reviewing of a step-by-step log of all actions creating and administering the election.
