Let Your Member Votes Count

online voting

The voice of your associate members matters when you are running a non profit. Non profits are only as strong as their members, and there are rules and regulations on how a non profit can do business. These rules are firmly established, and it is up to the Board of Directors to ensure that the voices of all associate members are heard whenever a decision is being made on an important issue.

Voting Online Gives Access to More Members

When online voting is set up for associate members of a non profit, more people have easy access to vote on what they feel is important. Most people are able to use the internet today, especially those that are actively involved with the business happenings of a non profit agency. When you set up an online voting tool for your members, you are ensuring that everyone can see the issue in front of them and vote as they see fit.

Voices Need to Be Heard

A non profit can’t make decisions without the help of associate members. In fact, there are often bylaws created that make it impossible for anyone to make big decisions without a majority of support from associate members. Using an online system, it’s possible to create voting questions quickly, getting your message out to members in an efficient way. The faster you can get a voting ballot out to members, the faster you will have the answer you need in order to proceed forward with business.

Running a non profit can be challenging, with the number of voices that need to chime in before big decisions can be made. With the use of technology, non profits are finding that this step is a little bit easier. When you reach out to all of your members at the same time, you are ensuring that no associate members are left out of the decision making process.
